Guidance for the Seeker of Allah (SWT)
Course Description:
The Gateway to the City of Knowledge, Sayyidina Ali (R.A.), once asked a beautiful question to the Beloved Messenger ?: “O Messenger of Allah ?! What is your Sunnah?”
The Beloved Messenger’s ? reply comprised of a few, short but comprehensive and profoundly insightful statements which provide a brilliant summary of the path leading to Allah (SWT). Each statement encapsulates a unique aspect of the Sunnah. Taken together the hadith illuminates in its own distinctive way the importance of a range of spiritual themes, including intimate knowledge and reason, love and desire, remembrance and reliance on Allah (SWT), sorrow and patience, contentment and certainty, humility and worldly detachment, struggle and worship. Thus each statement is an ocean of wisdom from which Muslims around the world can drink and is an invaluable guide for the seeker of the Way.
The purpose of this course is to open this beautiful hadith bit by bit so that we can benefit from the wisdom contained therein. One can imagine that pearls of wisdom have been strung to form a necklace. Join us this Ramadan as we learn how to adorn ourselves with the Pearl Necklace.
